My name is Arthur H. Trickett-Wile—I am a San Antonio-based photojournalist providing editorial photography and video spanning news, features, sports and portraits for newspapers across the U.S.
Through photography, I’ve come to find that truth is stranger than fiction. I’m grateful for the excuse to meet new people and explore the realities they inhabit. I strive to show the world for what it is—joyful or sorrowful—truthfully, artfully, and with the utmost respect for the human condition.
I hold a B.A. in Studio Art (Concentration—Photo) from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with departmental honors in 2021. in 2024, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with departmental honors with a bachelors in Photojournalism from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.
In addition to several years of experience in student newspapers, I have interned as a photojournalist for the Lincoln Journal Star, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and the Charlotte Observer. I have also freelanced for the San Antonio Express-News.
